Speaker Bios

Benny Ong is the founding director of Life Planning Associates Pte Ltd and is current president of SFSP. He has been investing during the  oil crisis in 73, the Pan El crisis in 85, the worldwide  stock market collapse in 1987, the Gulf crisis in 1990, the Asian Financial Crisis , the World Trade Centre attack in Sept 2001, the Sars and Iraq War in 2003 and the "sub prime" crisis in 2008 and the recent Euro crisis. He has lectured part time  on the subject of investment planning at the Singapore Institute of Management, CPF Board, several financial institutions, churches and voluntary bodies and has contributed numerous articles to various journals including the Business Times and the SGX monthly investment journals. He is actively involved in church, community and industry affairs.

Leong Sze Hian is the Past President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, an alumnus of Harvard University, authored 4 books, quoted over 1300 times in the media , has been host of a money radio show, a daily newspaper money column, Wharton Fellow, SEACeM Fellow, columnist for theonlinecitizen and Malaysiakini, and invited to speak more than 100 times in about 25 countries on 5 continents. He has served as Honorary Consul of Jamaica, Chairman of the Institute of Administrative Management, and founding advisor to the Financial Planning Associations of Brunei and Indonesia. He has 3 Masters, 2 Bachelors degrees and 13 professional  qualifications.
